The 5th International Machinery, Equipment and Products for Extraction and Industrialization of Wood and Furniture Fair (FEMADE) will be held from April 15th to 18th of 2008 and will count with, besides the new machinery and products for the wood sector, seminars and business meetings. It is also confirmed the Femade’s Cultural Concourse, that awards one of the attendees of the event with a trip to Ligna Plus – World Trade Fair for the Forestry and Woods Industries, that takes place in Hannover, Germany.

FEMADE is a realization of the Sector wide Chamber of Machines and Equipment for Woods in ABIMAQ, an entity that represents the Brazilian industrial owners, since the simplest machines to the most sophisticated and updated equipment of the most advanced technology in the wood business, and its main goal is to generate results for the exhibiting companies and benefits to the thousands of attendees that look for qualified information and new deal opportunities. At FEMADE you can find the entire wood productive chain, since forests, transport, primary transformation to the finishing of the raw material.

Will gather business owners, representatives, distributors, importers, exporters, suppliers, service sellers, institutions of approximation in between the sector and other companies, professionals, associations, press, academics and students of the sector, all of them inside the Expo Trade Convention Center, generating a great exchange of knowledge.

Paraná was chosen to be the basis of the event because it is the biggest exporter of the wood sector and derivates, it also concentrates a considerable number machinery and equipment factories and has the tradition of bringing results to its exhibitors and professional attendees, that can find in Curitiba an easy access and excellent infra structure much cheaper than in other big event centers.
